General Guidelines for Acceptance

We only accept items that are in good/like new condition for consignment. 

For all consigned clothing, please ensure the items are freshly laundered, paying attention for rips, stains, pet hair, fading, broken zippers, missing buttons, excessive pilling and any other signs of wear.  

We value each of you as consignors!  Please don't be offended if we say no thank you to some of your perfectly good items.  It may simply mean we have too many in stock that are similar, may show a little wear, or the style might be a little dated.  Thank you for your understanding and continued support. 

How to Consign with Legacy:

  1. Email to book an appointment for drop off/pick up*.

  2. For items you wish to consign that meet our acceptance criteria, please make sure they are in an appropriate condition for consignment:

    Ensure all items are freshly laundered, paying attention for stains, fading, broken zippers, missing buttons, pilling and any other signs of wear. Please fold the items neatly when placing them in the bag.

  3. If this is your first time consigning with us, you will need to fill out a Consignment Agreement.

  4. Your items will be posted in order of arrival for the 6 week consignment period.

  5. Items will be posted for 6 weeks. After 4 weeks, item prices will be reduced by 50% for the final two weeks.

  6. We pay 50% commission on all items sold.

  7. Your proceeds will be etransfered after your 6 week consigning window.

  8. Unsold items remaining at the end of the term will be locally donated, or, you can pick up within 7 days.

*as we're building our inventory, pick up *may* be available. In order to qualify, you must be willing to donate all "No Thank Yous".
